The conference “Rare disease perspectives in Central – Eastern Europe” organized by the European Joint Programme on Rare Diseases will be held next 16th September in Poland

The Conference "Rare disease perspectives in Central - Eastern Europe", organized by the European Joint Programme on Rare Diseases (EJP RD) and twinned to its General Assembly, will be held next September 16th in Gdansk, Poland.
The main aims of this conference are to discuss challenges and opportunities of Rare diseases research in Central - Eastern Europe countries and areas of involvement within EJP RD for multiple stakeholders (including researchers, clinicians, authorities, and patient organizations).
Presentations will be given by the major EJP RD partners and representatives of local rare disease research communities covering the following topics among many others:
- European Reference Networks
- Rare disease policies
- Research and innovation
- Data ecosystem and Orpha coding
- Biobanks
